Industry-Aligned Skills Framework (IASF) competency blueprint and technical matrix
Introduction

The Industry-Aligned Skills Framework (IASF) is Naipunya’s initiative to create a standardized, industry-driven skills framework for emerging job roles across technology and business domains.

Traditionally, academic programs have been structured around subjects and courses. However, employers recruit based on skills and capabilities. IASF bridges this disconnect by defining the practical skills, tools, technologies, and competencies required for specific job roles.

For every role, IASF identifies the knowledge areas, technical skills, professional competencies, and industry tools expected by employers. These frameworks serve as a common reference that enables educational institutions, students, employers, and training partners to align their efforts towards a shared understanding of workforce readiness.

Why It Matters

In today’s rapidly evolving workplace, job roles change faster than traditional curricula. As a result, students often complete their education without a clear understanding of the skills expected by employers.

IASF creates a common skills framework that helps every stakeholder align with industry expectations. Rather than focusing only on subjects, it emphasizes the capabilities required to perform successfully in a specific role.
